Six Transmitter Fox Hunt, Saturday December 2nd:

Come join members of the Cleveland Amateur Radio Club (CARC, Facebook) for a Mobile & Foot hunt (3 transmitters each) in Cleveland, TN.

The Mobile hunt kicks off at 8:30 am (EST) with three transmitters (frequencies listed on flyer, see below) located within a 3 mile radius of the Old Fort Restaurant (if you wish, join us for breakfast, we’ll be meeting there at 7:30 am).

The Foot hunt (3 transmitters) then starts at 10:00 am (EST) in Fletcher Park with both hunts ending at 12:30 pm. You’re then invited to join us for lunch (1 pm) at Big Tom’s Backyard Grill & Bar to enjoy great food, comradery and to share stories. Jeff will be hosting a forum for an indepth review of APRS as it pertains to modern day amateur radio.

Forum begins at 10AM Saturday in room 1 of the East Ridge Community Center.

2023 Tennessee QSO Party Results Are In!

The results for the 2023 Tennessee QSO Party are available. We received credit for 516 of our 519 submitted QSO’s. Only three busted calls out of 9 hours of operation is simply amazing.

Our 516 credited QSO’s earned us:

A grand total for 243,036 points which resulted in us winning First Place in the Low Power Multiop Mixed category for In-State stations!

A plaque for Over-The-Top operation!

Put the Cleveland ARC at 3^rd place for In-State clubs!

Contributed to the 1,200 plus Bradley County QSO’s ranking our county as the sixth most contacted county in Tennessee!
