Field Day 2026 is Done! Below are some Thank You’s BUT I want to start with a THANK YOU to everyone behind the scenes that helped make this huge event soo much fun and such a success!
We enjoyed a wonderful Inclement Weather Websites presentation by Austen Onek (KG4GKE). Austen showed us his favorite weather websites he uses performing his day job as Chief Meteorologist at WDEF News 12 in Chattanooga, TN. THANK YOU Austen!!
2:00pm, Field Day operations started. Thank You to all the Operators that came out to get on the air to support the club. Excited to see all the results.
Then Dinner. Thanks to Terry Botts and Me. LOL! If I can say, we did an awesome job cooking with amazing help from Joe Johnson and Kendall Davis preparing food and keeping food moving to feed the group. THANK YOU!
Thanks to David Benton for always getting local politicians to the clubhouse to get us those needed bonus points and Rex Smith. Rex always runs the best field day any club could hold. Our club is Blessed in many ways and having Rex is definitely a Blessing for the club!
