We are one week away from Field Day. As of This afternoon, we are roughly 99 percent complete with our set up. This year we will be operating 5E TN. That’s 5 stations operating on emergency power. The Stations are as follows:
Station 1:
Icom 7600
Antenna: Alpha Delta 40 Meter Dipole at the south end of the parking lot
Band Plan: 40 Meters
Mode of Operation: CW/SSB/Digital
Accessories: Koss earphones, Dunestar filter, LDG tuner
Station 2
Elecraft K3
Antenna: G5RV Inverted “V” located with the apex located at the top 100 foot tower at the north of the property
Band Plan 80 Meters
Mode of Operation: CW/SSB/Digital
Accessories: Koss earphones, Dunestar filter, LDG tuner
Station 3
Icom 756 Pro 2
Antenna 1: Mosley Classic located at north end of building
Antenna 2: Hustler Vertical located at northwest corner of property
Band Plan: 20 meters
Mode of Operation: CW/SSB/Digital
Accessories: Koss earphones, Dunestar filter, LDG tuner
Station 4
Yaesu FT3000
Antenna: Icom Folded Dipole located on the west side of the property
Band Plan: 10/15 meters
Mode of Operation: CW/SSB/Digital
Accessories: Koss earphones
Station 5
Kenwood TS2000
Antenna 1: 6 Meter Beam
Antenna 2: 6 Meter Squalo
144Mhz Antenna: 2 Meter Beam
Located on North side of building
Band Plan: VHF
Mode of Operation: CW/SSB/Digital
Accessories: Koss earphones
A rig identification sheet along with a list of ARRL sections will be posted at each station, along with other specific station information.
Activation will begin Saturday at 2 pm and continue thru the night until 2 pm Sunday afternoon. Diner will be at 6 pm.
