EchoLink Fixed

It was brought to my attention during Tuesday night’s meeting that the EchoLink node was not working properly. (Thanks to Steve, KA4ELN, who was not at the meeting for sending me an SMS while I was there letting me know!) Turns out someone had installed an external sound interface on the EchoLink computer, and evidently it had taken over EchoLink’s audio input/output.

As of Tuesday evening I did some tweaking within the EchoLink software itself to select the very specific sound card that it should be using. EchoLink was then tested and working fine again. If you had tried to use it recently and it did not work, it should be fine now.

Don’t forget this evening (Thursday, June 25th) we will be testing radios and such at the clubhouse for Field Day. If you’d like to help, feel free to show up. Buddy Kimsey will put you to work!
