Tennessee QSO Party Results

The Final results have been posted and the certificates awarded for the 2017 Tennessee QSO Party. This year the Cleveland Amateur Radio Club received 2nd place in the Instate, Multi-Operator, Low Power Category And 3rd place in the Instate category for contesting clubs.

This year we had a total score of 292,538 points. This was a result of working 654 contacts with 149 multipliers and an additional 200 bonus points. Complete contest results and details can be found at

Ever wanted to learn Morse Code?

Ever wanted to learn Morse Code?

Now’s your Chance. Interested in working DX or SOTA stations? It’s much easier with CW.

Using the material developed by the CW Ops Club you will learn Morse Code in a proven step by step process.

All of your practice exercises are competed using an on-line Morse Code Trainer. So you don’t even need to leave home.

Then once a week we will meet as a group for 1 hour using Skype. During this session, in addition to practice copying, you will also learn how to work DX, how to work a contest and how to make a typical CW QSO.

Cleveland ARC – To begin Introductory Course for Morse Code in October

Starting October 16th, The Cleveland Amateur Radio Club will be beginning an introductory course for ham radio operators interested in learning the art of Morse Code (CW).

This course will be specialized for the learning and advancement of Morse Code procedures and practices for the beginning operator. If you are an experienced code operator and interested in advancing your speed, serving as an Elmer or just interested in fellowship amongst other hams, feel free to come and join us as well.

This course will be held on Monday nights at the Cleveland Amateur Radio Club’s Clubhouse located at 560 Johnson Blvd., Cleveland, TN. Classes will begin at 6:30pm.
